CBT – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

The basic principle of CBT describes the interaction between thoughts, feelings, and behaviour resulting in a specific response with each of these affecting each other. When we can change any one of these areas we will see changes in all aspects of a situation.

Usually, the problem is not the original event, but the ensuing belief based on our perception. Once the negative belief is changed to a more rational belief the behaviour is changed as well.

CBT is a goal-oriented, hands-on therapy that looks at a situation from a variety of different perspectives. Often people want to get help in specific challenging situations but struggle to see how things can be different, so the idea of change may be hard to imagine.

Suitable conditions are, for example, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, anger management, relationship issues, and stress management.

Consultations can be done in Person or Online – in English or German.
