Ina 2024About

More than 35 years ago, I got involved in Acupressure which proved to be surprisingly effective, particularly for chronic conditions – so much so, that I decided to study professionally Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, nutrition etc.) in Singapore and China.

At the core of TCM lies the ‘Theory of the Five Elements’, an approach which – when deeply investigated – provides a fascinating holographic view on all levels of (human) nature.

Over several years, this methodology developed into the different ‘Adaptation Types’ which has been keeping me absorbed until this day. It opened my eyes to a different, yet logical, perspective on health, character traits, human behaviour, relationships, and most of all, nature

Having experienced myself loss and intense trauma throughout my life, coupled with the challenges of (voluntarily) moving to the other side of the world put me on a quest to discover the deeper meaning of my life story.

Becoming conscious of the profound connection between body, mind and spirit I realized that all parts must be honoured to facilitate healing. Decades of professionally studying Tai Chi, Meditation, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and becoming a Reiki Master and Teacher taught me the different facets of spiritual knowledge.

Combining those with my profound studies of TCM, I have been able to create a truly holistic approach to healing – be it on a physical or mental/emotional level. Living in a cross-cultural environment with a strong interest in religion and philosophy has been enabling me to assist clients from all walks of life trying to find a solution to anything which stands in the way of a fulfilled life.

Nevertheless, I realised the missing part in the triangle of body, mind and spirit, and, subsequently immersed myself in intensive studies of the psychological and neurological aspects (the mind) of dis-ease and how to approach intrinsic aspects like emotional blockages, limiting beliefs, childhood experiences, family conditioning.

Many years of extensive studies of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Theory), Sedona, and Inner Child work (among others) allow me to draw from my own experiences while complementing those with more than 30 years of training, studying and teaching a multitude of modalities.

At the heart of my work lies the recognition of the individual ‘Adaptation Types’ of a client which facilitates a highly personal, laser sharp approach to their character. Just as there are different levels of conditioning and understanding there are different ways to approach an issue, finding a solution which resonates with the client.

Providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to explore with my client, their thoughts and feelings I assist them in navigating through their challenges to achieve clarity and self-empowerment. Especially during the present tumultuous times, it gives me a great sense of satisfaction to guide people of all ages, all kinds of cultural backgrounds, and from all walks of life
